Social Sites and Sources
Since the majority of SW's involvement will occur during the planning for development (less to do with prim torture than in the past), a greater need to focus on moderating discussion is suggested.
- Treet TV Wiki
- Documentation of mission, objectives, roles, established principles and policies, project support information.
- Studio Wikitecture Forum
- Discussion about particular design elements that have already been submitted to the Wiki Tree; see also: SW All Designs page (link to be added once running).
- Treetpro Listserv
- Not everything that appears in Treetpro should be bounced elsewhere; but, some posts will prompt discussions that could be continued in the Forum, and some posts are likely to generate ideas that should be incorporated into the Wiki. Those administering SW & Treet should monitor, filter, and distribute the information from the various sources.
- Weblogs
Several blogs will find posts about the project, watch for notices in the Treetpro list for those; or, have a look now:
Weekly Design Meet-up
If a particular time and day of the week were established for a regular group/build/design meeting to take place, it could promote participation. This should be casual; no agenda...simply be a time slot that has a greater chance of anyone finding someone else there. Some folks—even SW members—have felt unsure about how to "plug in" in the past. I know that I visited the 3.0 space many times without understanding that I could participate.
If there was one person from (Wiz,Keystone,Texas,Starr,Azwaldo,Omei) present each week, that would ensure greater facilitation of group members, greater effectiveness group wide. A page in the wiki could have a sign-up table, reaching two months out let's say, and we could all volunteer: ("i can be there on the third week of July, and the second week of August")(assuming that a regular time/day-of-week is arranged)(so...we all alternated...that would be once a month each, at most)
