SLCN was launched in April of 2007 and was the first "virtual television network", primarily watched by people in the Second LifeĀ® virtual world.. Over a two year period, SLCN produced thousands of shows and gained a reputation for building a cohesive community of producers and talent who enjoy producing and watching virtual television. By the start of 2009, SLCN had over 150,000 viewers per month and had served virtual television shows like "Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe" to millions of web viewers.

SLCN is being replaced by Treet TV and Treet will begin airing programs starting in March of 2009 on all of SLCN's screens. It's the same shows, the same talented people, but in a newer hi-def format and will be spanning more virtual worlds than just Second Life.

All of SLCN's shows can be viewed in the Treet TV archives at http://archives.treet.tv
