Show Materials
This information is for you if you prepare materials for a Treet TV show or work with a 3rd party that creates them for you.
Types of Show Materials are:
- Introduction video or credit roll
- Supporting show graphics / photos / powerpoint
- Supporting videos
- Show segment graphics or video stings
- Advertising inserts
Show materials can be created by you or by Treet TV. Some materials like intros are created once and used repeatedly on every show. Supporting materials are show-specific, change with each show, and should be supplied with by Submitting Runsheets.
If Treet TV creates the repeating items, we will try to work with your creative ideas as appropriate. Please supply artwork for your logo as a layered Photoshop format. If you have a 3rd party make the intro video, please refer to Video Submissions for submitting videos.
Most show-specific materials should be supplied with your runsheet. Exceptions to this are if you have been given an audio or video clip from a guest that is of questionable format or quality. Special case videos like these are usually, but not always, able to be used but require conversion, re-encoding or special attention. Please give as much advance notice on these as possible. Again, see Video Submissions.
For still graphics and photographs be mindful of copyright and photo credits. Be certain that graphics are your originals or used with permission. If a photographer credit is needed please either:
- create a graphic that includes both photo & credit information before submitting, or
- provide the info in the runsheet to be shown at the end of the show along with other credits
We do not typically include photograph Captions as separate items and assume that descriptive or explanatory info will follow as part of the show.
Delivery Methods
Weekly show materials should be a zipped up archive and emailed to runsheets@treet.tv
If a video or special case item is too large for email (greater than 4 MB), please use the Treet TV Dropbox account of dropbox@treet.tv. You can also use a free account at YouSendIt and transfer the file to runsheets@treet.tv using the yousendit.com service
