Fewer Tech Problems
The Treet video player is based on Flash. That means that almost all web browsers will automatically have the right plug-in installed and recognize the video. (The number 1 most popular page on the archive.treet.tv website is the "I don't have Quicktime plugin" redirect.) Fewer tech problems mean more people will see the video.
Very Viral
The embed code for any episode can easily be obtained by using the right-click "Copy Embed Code to Clipboard" feature. YouTube has trained millions of web users to do this already; thank you YouTube. So not only will the shows play nicely on producer blogs and sites, let's encourage show guests, speakers, media and press to also embed the player on their sites.
Unlike YouTube, the player will include the full show. (no 10 minute limit) If you haven't noticed, you can slide the 'pointer' forward to skip ahead to a point further along in the show.
Better Quality
HQ playback is now available for titles as part of the player.
Reports
Significantly better metrics are being collected. Viewer habits and demographics are solid gold when talking about sponsorship. Referrer information about what sites have embedded a show are also gathered.

Because the player code and API are written by Treet, there is a long list of additional features that can be developed going forward.
