Advertising Submission Information

Payment and materials need to be supplied to us by 5pm Wednesday of the week prior to when you want your advertising to appear.

Unless there are very unusual circumstances a typical ad should not be over 30 seconds.

Typically there are 2 kinds of ads:

1.) A static graphic card with a Voice Over or 2.) A video clip, usually machinima

For 1.) we need good artwork graphic of your ad 1280 x 720 px as a JPG, TIFF, or PNG minding the "graphic safe" areas. i.e. keep an area around the outside border of your graphic of about 70 or 80 px free of any critical information like text or logos. See Video_frame_layout for more info. We also need the text copy of a sentence or two for the voice over.

Here are some tips that may improve the impact of your ad:

• Keep the image really simple - strong large fonts
• Ensure the aspect ratio is respected. Treet TV format is 16:9 (widescreen) and high quality versions are 1280 x 720 pixels. Prepare your artwork for widescreen dimensions, don't just stretch it to fit.

For 2.) whenever possible, we want video submitted as 720p 24p(23.976fps) 1280x720 square pixels, codec: H.264, same frame-rate. See Video_Submissions for more info. If you are not able to submit video in this format there are folks that can help, including Machinima Creators and some of our show producers.

If a video or special case item is too large for email (greater than 4 MB), please use a free Dropbox account and share your folder with us at dropbox@treet.tv. Or use a free account at YouSendIt and transfer the file to adfiles@treet.tv using the yousendit.com service.
